The Data Protection Act
The Data Protection Act puts obligations on users of personal information and details principles for it use. There are 8 principles in the act that we are obliged to conform to. The Act requires companies who process data to notify the Information Commissioner, describing the purposes for which they process personal information. The principles for data processing are:
1. Fair and lawfully processed
2. Processed for a specific purpose
3. Adequate, relevant and not excessive
4. Accurate
5. Not kept for longer than necessary
6. Processed in accordance with the subjects rights
7. Held securely
8. Not transferred to countries without adequate protection or explicit permission

How Does Programme Recruitment Ltd use your personal Information?
Programme's main use of your personal information is to seek employment or engagement for you.
